Organized by the Department of Electrical Engineering at the National Institute of Technology, Kurukshetra, it includes contributions from academicians, technologists, entrepreneurs, and research scholars. The content is designed to benefit engineers, students, and researchers working in the fields of power networks and smart energy systems.
Rahul Sharma received his B.Tech. from Kamla Nehru Institute of Technology, Sultanpur, in 2010, and his M.Tech. from Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology, Allahabad, in 2012, both in electrical engineering. He earned his Ph.D. from the National Institute of Technology, Kurukshetra, in 2018. Since September 2013, he has been with the Department of Electrical Engineering at the National Institute of Technology, Kurukshetra, where he is currently an Assistant Professor. His research interests include power electronic converters, electric vehicles, microgrids, modeling and control design of converters, and renewable energy systems. He focuses on integration issues of distributed energy sources using power electronics converters and has authored over 50 research papers in reputed international journals and conferences. Amit Kumar received his B.Tech. from the National Institute of Science and Technology, Rourkela, and his M.Tech. from the National Institute of Technology, Jamshedpur, both in electrical engineering. He earned his Ph.D. from the National Institute of Technology, Kurukshetra, in 2018. Since 2013, he has been with the Department of Electrical Engineering at the National Institute of Technology, Kurukshetra, where he is currently an Assistant Professor. His research interests include the application of soft computing techniques to power system operation and control. He has guided more than 10 M.Tech. students and has authored several research papers in reputed international journals and conferences. Anmol R. Saxena received his diploma in engineering in 1997, his B.E. from Bhilai Institute of Technology, Durg, in 2000, and his M.Tech. from Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology, Bhopal, in 2007, all in electrical engineering. He earned his Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, in 2014. He was an Assistant Professor at MITS Gwalior from 2013 to 2014. Since December 2014, he has been with the Department of Electrical Engineering at the National Institute of Technology, Delhi, where he is currently an Associate Professor and Head of the Department. His research interests include the design of power electronic converters, DC-DC converters for electric vehicles, low-voltage DC grids, multi-port converters, digital control, modeling, and robust control design of DC-DC converters. He focuses on integration issues of renewable generators and high-performance DC-DC converters.
