The book provides a systematic presentation of the material contained theoretical and practical (methodological) information. For the first time the methodological issues of development and testing of new serological tests was outlined. Methods for assessing the diagnostic value of serological test were described with specific references. Such efforts have not been taking in our country and abroad. Serology techniques used in human and veterinary medicine are very similar. This kind of publication would be beneficial to the field of healthcare, as well.
