Dr. Anita K. Patil erhielt 2016 ihre Ehrendoktorwürde von der North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon. Sie ist seit zwanzig Jahren am Dr. Vithalrao Vikhe Patil College of Engineering, Ahmednagar, tätig. Zurzeit arbeitet sie als Leiterin und Professorin der Abteilung für Elektronik und Telekommunikation. Dr. Anita Patil ist außerdem Mitglied auf Lebenszeit bei ISTE und Associate.
