She focuses both personally and professionally on memoir writing, conflict resolution, and self-help literature. Cate has a track record of getting good media traction. In college she was featured in the New York Times for the semester that she spent at Spelman College. She wrote a guest column for the Atlanta Journal Constitution in 2008 about volunteering as an outlet for exploring the ideal job. In law school, Cate focused on health law and conflict engagement, relating to her passion for a more patient-centered approach to maternal health care.
