These problems involve social control through technology and a need to expose private life, which, together with the dominance of the Internet and virtual social networks, has brought a fragility to the modern (or post-modern) individual in terms of socialising and the production of affections. In this context, we will discuss the role of online wish-fulfilment agents, who, being figures who use the image of others to deceive, go increasingly unnoticed in online environments.
