Desiring to serve children, they went to Afghanistan, where their hearts were broken over the plight of children trying to scratch out a living on the streets. They began a center providing these poor children with basic education, hot meals, and vocational training. That center continues today and now serves over 400 children, including children who are deaf and have other special needs.
