Jesus didn't even try to appoint a better high priest, or to rewrite the long lists of religious rules. He just ignored them as being irrelevant and got on with walking in the light of his Father. Your journey may mean asking lots of questions, and possibly being opposed by those who are threatened by your questions. It can be scary rattling the cage, but maybe that's what God wants you to do! The goal is freedom. Freedom to relate personally to a loving Father.
