The dichotomy of John's faith and his many illnesses caused him to question God many times throughout his life, and sometimes even be extremely angry at Him. Yet nothing could ever take away John's love for his Father... or could it? In midlife, as John continued to deal with the challenges of his youth, in addition to an ever-changing array of new symptoms, he begins to wonder if a solution will ever be found... if healing is nothing more than a pipe dream. For the Love of God is the story of a man who is pushed to the outermost limits of his refusal to give up on his Lord despite lifelong suffering. It is the chronicle of seeking the manifested evidence of faith when living for the love of God.
