Footprints is a collection of poetry and prose with a little bit of everything. It's about the impressions she leaves in her wake. Famo takes you on a journey of colliding words, love, grief, heartbreak, healing, life experiences, and self-love. There are seven chapters, Identity, Home, Heartbreak, Being A Girl, Nature, Love, and Motherhood. Each chapter takes you on a trip following her experiences from birth to adulthood.

Autor

Famo Musa is a Bantu poet and artist, born in 1990, she came to the U.S. in 2004. She graduated from the University of California San Diego with a B.A. in literature and Creative writing. Famo has published some of her work in City Works Literary Journal, Grossmont Community Acorn Review, and The People Have Spoken Zine at City College. She also wrote news articles for the Speaks City Heights youth media from 2015 to 2019. She now resides in Houston with her family.
