Part II presents reflections on the practice of doing a journalistic research. It addresses the constraints which an industry journalist faces in his/her work. Namely, such issues as the complexity of the industry and constraints of the media environment are examined. The discussion is put into a perspective of available academic research and a case for journalist's self-reflexivity is made.
