Major aspects associated with tank renovation and conversion has been discussed. Simplified calculations for steel renewal and typical total required volume of steel have been presented. In designing topsides three major requirements has been fulfilled. For mooring system design, the applied standard was API-RP-2SK. For Hydrostatic and stability calculation, a model of the proposed FPSO has been developed. Damage statical stability analysis is performed for full flooding damage of six different compartments. Finally Some recommendations are provided at the end of the report regarding further improvement of the proposed Design.
