Scarlett Wharton isn't an average vampire. She hates the sight of blood, let alone the taste of it. But her senior year at Hybrid High, a school for Immortals with similarly eclectic tastes and urges, sees her having to learn just what it is to be half vampire and half...no one really knows. When the school is attacked by creatures lost to myth, Scarlett finds herself having to face her own uncertain past. With the threat to their community growing, she will need to rely on her friends and even her foes to survive. And as the darkness draws closer, she'll have to confront her own fears and desires.
