An anthology of poetry by the winners of the annual Muriel's Journey Poetry Prize, held each year in honour of activist poet Muriel Marjorie. As well as first and second prizes, there is a dedicated prize for a poet from Vancouver's Downtown Eastside and a prize for an entrant selected at random. Honourable mentions are also included.

Autor

I am a songwriter, performance poet and the 2019-2023 Poet Laureate of Owen Sound, Ontario, on the territory of the Saugeen Ojibway Nation. Works in Arc, Prairie Fire, Train, and The Fiddlehead. As laureate my duties came with a mandate to explore ecological issues in my community, and included environmental art interventions and site-specific social justice projects centring on homelessness. I am co-editor, with Penn Kemp, of Poems in Response to Peril: An Anthology in Support of Ukraine, profits from which went to displaced Ukrainian cultural workers.
