Fatigue Behavior of Austempered Ductile Iron

Experimental work followed by regression analysis was conducted to develop mathematical relations to predict fatigue life of the austempered ductile iron. Also, a neural networks model was developed based on the experimental results to be used to predict the fatigue life of ADI.

Dr. Ahmed Backar is a faculty in the Production Engineering department at Alexandria University, Egypt and the Mechanical Engineering Department at Umm Al-Qura University, Saudi Arabia. His research interests are in the fields of materials science and technology and Mechanics of Materials. He is also an academic accreditation expert and consultant.
