The sorption experiments established that, the pesticide Imidacloprid, has moderate adsorption on the tested soils. The normalized sorption coefficients to organic carbon were evaluated. The results indicate, organic carbon to predominantly control Sorption process of imidacloprid in the studied soils. The calculated half lives from the degradation experiments revealed a low persistence of this pesticide in the tested soils
