The book goes further to use survey data collected from maize farmers and formal financial institutions in Ashanti and Brong Ahafo Regions of Ghana to assess factors which influence farmers access to financial services and determinants of formal lenders credit rationing behaviour. Furthermore, it analyse the effect of formal credit on expenditure on farm inputs and farm size as well as farm productivity. Analytical framework presented in this book include: logit, multinomial logit, Heckman two stage model, Propensity Score Matching (PSM) and switching regression model.
