The child also possesses the personality right to physical integrity, which protects him/her against injuries to body and mind. Physical, psychological and sexual violence violate the personality right to integrity. Within the family, these rights cannot be violated through violence, as it is the family that assumes, together with the State and society, the roleof guarantor.
