Faculty members have to develop themselves in these areas by improving their professional skills in teaching and learning. Adult learning theories suggest that faculty members needs should be considered for efficient faculty development. Furthermore, learning may not be achieved if faculty members don t believe in professional development in general and ICT-based professional development in particular. Therefore, for technology enhanced professional development, identifying faculty beliefs and needs is essential. For this purpose, three instruments were designed and implemented for exploring beliefs and needs of faculty members in an international university.
