The aim of this study was to evaluate the eye-hand coordination tasks of fine motor skills from different motor batteries in 9-year-old schoolchildren of both sexes and to establish possible associations between the scores of these tasks and school performance. Regarding the systematic review, the instruments most commonly used today to assess children's motor performance are: MABC, MABC-2, and BOTMP-2. Regarding the results of the fine motor eye-hand coordination tasks of the motor batteries, only the task of distributing cards obtained a good distribution, both overall and stratified by gender. The data from the school performance assessment showed an incidence of 16.6% indicative of general learning difficulties, with reading showing the highest rate of difficulty among children (23.2%). Regarding the association of fine motor eye-hand coordination tasks with school performance, the task of distributing cards showed the strongest correlation with it, with children who performed better on the task also scoring better on all TDE subtests.
