The findings of this study suggest that selection of appropriate reading texts (easy nonfiction) is important in developing young adults' skills in reading. Special English offers the learners easy nonfiction texts along with multimodal features (still images, audio, and even video with some texts). These features, according to the findings and information from previous investigations, facilitate learners' reading comprehension. The findings from the focus group discussion with the participants showed positive feedback towards the website used in the reading program.
