The need for such notions of "goodness", "doing things right", "being fair", "avoid suffering of people, animals and environment" must continue into the modern world with emerging technologies, despite the increase of technological powers and sophistication in people's hands, across so many countries and in all facets of life. There is therefore an academic and philosophical need for assessing and well-delimiting the facets of ethics into the re-fashioned societal set-up and technological dependencies. The focus of this manuscript will be geared towards "Extending The Right to Choose in The Technology Era". The technology focussed here is ICT technologies and its related sub-fields including emerging technologies. This research remains inherently a continuity work of vision and opinion. Such opinions may differ from other researchers, but formulating varied opinions will ultimately enrich the field of Ethics in the Emerging Technology era.
