Taking into account the necessary renewal of science teaching, we decided to develop a study on the effects of experimentation on students' level of interest in the process of teaching and learning physics in the 9th year of primary school, given the countless difficulties presented by students when faced with this important curricular component in their basic education, which is often seen by students as something extremely complex and distant from their reality.
