Unfortunately, properly documented failure studies including appropriate restoration measures and their rigorous validation are rarely disseminated widely. With the above goals in mind, this book presents the findings of a detailed investigation of distressed bridge truss of pipe rack at Srinagar, Kashmir including rigorous experimental validation of proposed remedial measures. Il Dr A R Dar, il professore più anziano al N I T, Srinagar India è anche consulente strutturale, principalmente in strutture d'acciaio formate a freddo. Ha 35 anni di esperienza nell'insegnamento, nella ricerca ecc. Ha ottenuto il suo dottorato in Ingegneria Civile dall'Università di Bristol, Regno Unito, nel 1993. Ha esperienza in strutture in acciaio, calcestruzzo e compositi.
