The study aims to explore the impact of using ICT tools on English language acquisition among 364 first-year Bachelor of Technology students at SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Kattankulathur, Tamil Nadu, India. A weekly assessment was administered to both control and experimental groups to facilitate a comparative analysis between the cohorts. This investigation employed SPSS Software version 26 and Minitab to scrutinize the data collected from the pre-test and post-test. This research delves into the amalgamation of erudite theories and models, encompassing the Cognitive Theory of Multimedia Learning, Self-Determination Theory, Technology Acceptance Model, and TPACK framework for interpreting and reconciling the findings.
