I know that when working with a professional, we like to learn about their academic background, degrees, etc. And while that may be important in many cases, I believe what truly defines me as a professional is my self-taught education-constantly questioning and verifying everything I have learned through "official" means-along with my passion for health, learning, and staying up to date in my field. I love science, but I reject scientism. Although I apply all of this to my clients and consider it a fundamental part of helping them achieve their goals, I must admit that I also do it for personal enjoyment. It is a way to satisfy my own curiosity about the world and life in general, and about health sciences in particular. When it comes to acquiring knowledge, I consider myself an ambitious person.
