Anna Partington is homeless. She can also see ghosts from the past. While seeking the only relation who could help, Anna meets taciturn Rob Ahmed at a shelter in Nottingham and finds she is not the only one who can see and do strange things. Anna and Rob are drawn together, entangled in a dangerous medieval world where they could either inspire the legend of Robon Hood or vanish like ghosts in time. Many of us have wished we could travel back in time to meet our heroes. Would they be special, or everyday people?
