The aim of this manuscript is to identify, quantify and analyse the incidence and potential problems related to prescriptions that could lead to errors or changes in the dispensing of medicines in a community pharmacy in a Social Centre in the West Zone of São Paulo; as well as to raise awareness among health professionals of the importance of the quality of prescriptions for dispensing and administration and the consequent promotion of the rational use of medicines, providing patients with greater efficacy and safety in pharmacological treatment.

Autor

Juliana Cristina do Nascimento, born in 1992 in São Paulo, is a pharmacist who graduated from the São Judas Tadeu University (USJT). She currently works in a community pharmacy at a Social Centre in the West Zone of São Paulo and has worked as an intern in the Pharmaceutical Care office at the Heart Institute of the Hospital das Clínicas at FMUSP.
