So, the aim of this study is to evaluate demographic data, clinical manifestations, laboratory investigations, treatment and the prognostic indicators of the affected children The present work is a prospective hospital based study of scorpion sting envenomation patients. This study was performed on 50 children with history of scorpion sting who were presented to Assiut university hospital for children from the first of August 2011 to the first of February 2012. Their ages ranged between 1-15 years old. Both sexes of children were included in the study.
