Evaluation of chilli Genotypes for growth, yield and quality

Beschreibung

The collection of germplasm and assessment of their genetic variability are the basic steps in any crop improvement programme. In this study, the chilli (Capsicum annuum L.) genotypes collected from different parts of South India are evaluated at Postgraduate Centre, UHS campus, GKVK, Bengaluru which falls under Eastern dry zone of Karnataka. The correlation and path analysis were also carried out.

Mr. Vijaya H. M., completed his B.Sc in Horticulture from the University of Agricultural Sciences, Bengaluru and M.Sc in Horticulture from the University of Horticultural Sciences, Bagalkot. Currently he is pursuing his PhD in Horticulture from CCS Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar, India.
