The issues discussed were approached elementarily but no issue of relevance was neglected. Furthermore, it must be emphasized that this work is actually an expansion and addition to an earlier work titled Introduction to moral Philosophy (2000). This addition became necessary in order to accommodate a wider audience. This expansion was also deemed necessary in order to accommodate in one volume what is thought of as a basic introduction to axiology, which obviously is not very popular among students of philosophy. It is also expected that readers would benefit more having these aspects of philosophy in one volume.
