The high concentration slurry is transported to ash pond sites and deposited into the ash pond. So the deposition characteristic of coal ash slurries is very important as it decides the spreading behavior of highly concentrated slurry in the ash ponds. Deposition pattern of coal ash in the pond has a strong dependence on the concentration and other properties of slurry.
