The management of municipal solid waste faces obstacles in Solid Waste National Policy, with alarming consequences, environmental degradation and population's life quality. Faced with those difficulties of waste final destination, tons of waste are thrown in a dump 3km far from urban center, in countryside, near to local water availability, farms and a settlement of local population. It is concluded that, under direct and indirect influence, the risk of contamination is high, and it reaches groundwater. The county also lists water supply and basic sanitation; this is, therefore, one of main reasons for the development of this environmental monitoring.
