In the second section we have focused on the use of remote sensing in biological science especially in the fields of ecology, biodiversity and conservation. The third section deals with different types of mosquito vectors and their bio-ecological characteristics. Different mosquito borne diseases are also discussed with their causative organisms and symptoms of diseases. Different micro-environmental managements through manipulation to prevent mosquitoes have also been discussed. Nanotechnology and their toxic effect is an emerging issue in for the sustainable development of the environment. In this context we have put light on the anti-bacterial activity of the green synthesized ZnO nanoparticles.
