In cotton, the seed cotton yield depends on the accumulation of photo assimilates and partitioning in different parts of the plant. The yield is strongly influenced by the application of micro nutrients indicating the role of these micro nutrients in increasing the yield through their effect on various morpho-physioligical traits. Foliar application of micro nutrients is known to increase the yield of cotton crop.
