Wilfried Elmenreich is a Professor of Smart Grids at the Alpen-Adria-Universität Klagenfurt, Austria, where he focuses on intelligent energy systems and self-organizing systems. He has published over 200 articles and authored several books in the field of networked and embedded systems. Farshad Arvin is a Professor of Robotics at the University of Durham, specializing in swarm robotics and biohybrid robotics. He has previously held positions at the University of Manchester and has authored numerous publications while directing the Swarm & Computational Intelligence Laboratory.
