The goal which has pushed us to write this Guide Book is to familiarize learners to the engineering calculations on Excel. Our main focus will be on Excel board, functions, formulas, etc. The Excel calculations which will be in this Guide Book are based on engineering calculations which include mathematics and physics notions. Some few reminders can be done about some mathematics and physics notions but not so deeply because this Guide Book is based just on how Excel can help us to solve that kind of problems. For each problem, we are going to show firstly and quickly the analytical calculation of problems, what are boundaries for some people about that and finally we give the Excel solutions. The main advantage for this first Part of this Book to use Excel in engineering calculations is that it helps and allows us :- to avoid using complex and difficult primitives to find (Trigonometric difficulties, etc.) ;- to calculate infinitesimal areas which will be very useful in our future calculations on material deformations.
