Like other countries, the major regional powers Turkey and Iran also strive to attain their goals regarding access to alternative energy resources, maintenance of energy security, gaining authoritative power over grand energy projects and etc. Within the last decades, the relationship between the two states has waxed and waned regarding different kind of issues. From this point of view, the geo-strategic confrontation between the two not only does define the energy as a key factor but also enhance their interests to set up newly geopolitical goals and paths towards other regions.
