Álvaro Rocha is a Professor of Information Systems at ISEG – University of Lisbon, Honorary Professor at Amity University, and researcher at ADVANCE and CINTESIS. He holds Habilitation in Information Science, a Ph.D. in Information Systems and Technologies, an M.Sc. in Information Management, and a B.Sc. in Computer Science. His research interests include maturity models, management and intelligent information systems, quality, cybersecurity, e-government, e-health, and IT in education. He is Vice-Chair of the IEEE Portugal SMC Society Chapter and serves as Founder and Editor-in-Chief of the World Journal of Information Systems and RISTI – Revista Ibérica de Sistemas e Tecnologias de Informação. He is also the Scientific Manager of the Information Systems Engineering & Management book series at Springer-Nature. His expertise has been recognized through advisory roles for the European Commission (Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe), COST, and national science agencies in Italy, Latvia, Mexico, Poland, Cyprus, and Slovakia. He is ranked among the World’s Top 1% Scientists by Stanford University and Elsevier, the World’s Top 0.05% by ScholarGPS, and the World’s Top 1% by ResearchGate in the Information Systems field. Hojjat Adeli received his Ph.D. from Stanford University in 1976 at the age of 26. He is currently an Academy Professor at The Ohio State University where he held the Abba G. Lichtenstein Professorship for ten years. He has authored 650 research and scientific publications in various fields of computer science, engineering, applied mathematics, and medicine, including 16 ground-breaking high-technology books, and holds a United States patent in the area of design optimization. He is the recipient of 82 awards and honors including eight Honorary Doctorates and several Honorary Professorships. In 2010, he was profiled as an Engineering Legend in the ASCE journal of Leadership and Management in Engineering. He is a member of Norwegian Academy of Technological Sciences, a corresponding member of the Spanish Royal Academy of Engineering, a foreign member of Academia Europaea, Lithuanian Academy of Sciences and Polish Academy of Science, a Distinguished Member of ASCE, and a Fellow of AAAS, IEEE, AIMBE, and American Neurological Association. He is a Clarivate Analytics Highly Cited Researcher in three categories of Computer Science, Engineering, and Cross Field. Aneta Poniszewska-Maranda has been with the Institute of Information Technology, Lodz University of Technology, Poland, since 1998. She is currently a University Professor. She is the Head of the Software Engineering and Security of Information Systems Research Group. She has published more than 180 research papers in journals, conference proceedings, and books. Her research interests include software engineering, information system security, multi-agent systems, cloud computing, Internet of Things, blockchain, data analysis, machine learning, LLMs and distributed systems. She is a member of IEEE, ACM, AIS, and INSTICC. She is a reviewer of more than 50 research international journals, a member of the editorial board and reviewer boards of research journals, and the chair, the vice-chair, and a PC member of many international research conferences from all over the world. She was an editor of journal special issues. Fernando Moreira established the Science and Technology Department, created the first engineering degrees, and served as its head from May 2018 until February 2022. He earned his Bachelor's degree in Computer Science in 1992, a Master's degree in Electronic Engineering in 1997, and a Ph.D. in Electronic Engineering in 2003, all from the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Porto. In 2018, he also achieved his Habilitation. He has been a dedicated Portucalense University member since 1992, where he currently holds the position of Full Professor. Additionally, he serves as a visiting professor at several other esteemed universities. His teaching portfolio encompasses various subjects spanning undergraduate and post-graduate studies. He also supervises Ph.D. and Master's students. He has significantly contributed to his field with over 300 papers, Scopus indexed, and peer-reviewed scientific publications in national and international journals and conferences. He serves as a member of the Editorial Advisory Board for various journals and books. He has organized numerous special issues for JCR journals (Telematics and Informatics, Future Generation Computer Systems, Cluster Computing, Expert Systems, etc.). His commitment to advancing research is reflected in his consistent participation as Conference Chair, Workshop Chair, Chief Guest, Keynote speaker, and in the programme and scientific committees for national and international conferences. He held the MSc in Computation coordinator position for a decade, demonstrating his dedication to academic leadership. He is a REMIT research centre steering committee member with extensive editorial experience and has co-edited several books. His professional affiliations include NSTICC, ACM, and IEEE. His primary research interests encompass Mobile computing, AIGen in Higher Education, Machine Learning, and Digital transformation. He received the prestigious Atlas Elsevier Award in April 2019 for his contributions. Isaias Bianchi holds a Ph.D. in Technology and Information Systems from the University of Minho, Portugal. He is a professor and researcher at the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC), where he has held various academic and managerial roles since 2010. He is also a visiting professor and Researcher Fellow of the Ministry of Education of Kazakhstan, teaching and supervising Ph.D. students at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. Isaias combines academic expertise with hands-on experience in real estate investment, artificial intelligence, and educational innovation. He has edited and authored several academic books published by Springer, with a focus on knowledge management, AI, and digital transformation. His work has been featured in leading international journals and conferences, and he holds the Moodle Educator Certification.
