Mohan Kankanhalli, Director of the NUS AI Institute, currently holds the distinguished position of Provost s Chair Professor of Computer Science. He also serves as the Deputy Executive Chairman of AI Singapore, the country s national AI program. Previously, he was the Dean of the NUS School of Computing from 2016 to 2022. Before that, he served as NUS Vice Provost (Graduate Education) from 2014 to 2016 and Associate Provost (Graduate Education) from 2011 to 2013. Earlier, he held the roles of Vice-Dean for Academic Affairs and Graduate Studies at the NUS School of Computing from 2008 to 2010, and Vice-Dean for Research from 2001 to 2007. Prof. Kankanhalli s research interests include multimodal computing, computer vision, and trustworthy AI. He has made significant contributions to image and video understanding, visual saliency, content authentication, and privacy.Sharad Bhartiya is a Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, Mumbai, India. He received his Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Oklahoma State University in 2000. From 2000 to 2002, he worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Delaware. His current research interests include system identification, estimation, and model predictive control of switched/hybrid dynamic systems, as well as the optimization of large-scale dynamic systems, with a focus on AI/ML interventions in all these areas. On the application side, Prof. Bhartiya is involved in novel approaches for simulated moving bed chromatography, optimal operation of solar thermal power plants, and fuel cell integration with other energy systems.Pravin P. S. is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering at the National Institute of Technology Silchar, Assam, India. He obtained his B.Tech. in Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering from Mahatma Gandhi University, Kerala, in 2009. He then received his M.Tech. in Electrical & Electronics

Engineering with a specialization in Industrial Instrumentation & Control Engineering from the University of Kerala in 2011. He was awarded a Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay in 2020. Subsequently, he served as a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Department of Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering at the National University of Singapore. His research interests include advanced process control, process modeling and simulation, process optimization, artificial intelligence/machine learning, scheduling and planning, renewable energy systems, fuel cells, and batteries. He is an active reviewer for various reputed journals and conferences.
