This study on the management of temporal urgency during the production of the television news aims to : - To highlight the literary contributions showing that the production of the television news is a collective work which is declined in four functions: the function Writing, the function Formatting, the function Service of the Supports and the function Web writing;- To analyze the phenomenon from two successive corpus made up respectively of three then two interviews with editors of television channels in Martinique and Guadeloupe. We are interested in the management of the emergency during the realization of the television news. We process the data collected qualitatively by the analysis of the anchored theorization. The data collection techniques used are direct interviews and telephone interviews. To problematize our research object is to ask the following question: how do the different trades involved in the production of the television news manage the emergency? We organizeour research around one axis:the impact of emergency management on the quality of the information broadcast.
