The second chapter is dedicated to the feminist sources that support her thesis of equality. For this, she handles the texts of ancient philosophers, saints and contemporary authors as she pleases. The third chapter deepens her ideas through the study of her works: rejected marriage, required female education, gender equality, spiritual love and creative writing. This study has attempted to prove that Marie de Gournay was indeed the "mother of French feminism".
