Her powers are growing and she is surpassing her father in strength. Sarah, the middle daughter, just wants a normal life. Claudia, the youngest, likes to stir the pot and embraces her vampire powers wanting to be the most powerful and head of the family, but Emelia keeps her in check and won't let her endanger the family. While trying to live low key a young man on the run, shows up at Emelia's club. He is Ian the oldest vampire and thought he was the only vampire. Ian has been a vampire for almost a hundred years. Being turned when he was in his early twenties he still looks to be a young man, but his near death experiences have made him stronger every time. Not sure he wants more vampires in the world, he followed a trail of the family to New York. He soon finds out Claudia is a vampire and listens to her stories of how she was turned and can live in one place with almost a normal life. Ian and his companion, Nadia, investigate the family, learning of Emele's wealth and how the daughters can live in the big city, Ian has ideas. He wants the life they have created. Does he want to follow in their footsteps or like he is used to, take what he wants? Both the daughters and Ian have suspicions about the others and are carefully putting plans in motion. Claudia develops feelings for Ian and her sisters are not sure they can trust her if a confrontation comes. Will Claudia abandon her family for Ian?

Autor

Steve Pierce was born in 1960 on an Iowa farm, growing up doing farm chores. He graduated from local Tri-Count High School back in 1978. He loved the farm lifestyle and started farming himself. He married Vicky and they had four children, Danielle, Nicole, Derek and Ashley. When their farm struggled financially, Steve went to work in a factory that made farm equipment. After working there for twenty years he quit to catch back up on his farming operation. Steve had always liked horror movies that had a bit of humor in them and he used to watch the Friday night creature features with his family. He had his own ideas about vampires and even developed some characters in his mind. With the support of his family over his ideas, he wrote his first book. He sold many copies to his family and work friends, who wanted to hear more of the vampire family. With the support of his family and new fans, he wrote two more books in the series and is currently working on book four.
