Johnson enjoys working with young people and credits her interactions with her students and their parents as helping her to become a more authentic person. Her goal is to treat others with courtesy and respect, and believes that if something isn't good enough for herself or the people that she loves-then it can't be good enough for anyone else. Johnson enjoys gardening, doing yard work, baking, painting, spending time with family and friends, and traveling with her husband Steven.
