Embracing Darkness A Book of Poetry for the Dark times

My life has been a constant struggle with depression, anxiety, and other mental health issues. I found that writing them out, was the quickest way to get them out. I took up this challenge to call attention to mental health issues such as the ones mentioned above. This was my opportunity to spark a light in the darkness. To hopefully be a guiding light and let someone know they are not alone.

Autor

I grew up in a small town in Mississippi. I attended the local junior college until I moved for the first time in 2009. I spent seven years on the road with my son before settling in middle Tennessee. I gained my Master's in Environmental Science in 2024 and I have been advocating for climate justice for many years along side mental health issues.
