The book contains 8 experiments that include: Labs for the embedded software development fundamentals; Labs for basic interfaces. This book offers examples for the embedded system learners. The Labs form an embedded system teaching or training tool and are introduced in a very understandable manner. The initial chapters deal with the introduction part that may be used in the implementations. LED blinking and use of push buttons are mentioned later. Chapter 5 introduces 7 segment displays and their operation with the PIC microcontrollers. Chapter 6 shows the interface of PIC with the LCD device. Chapter 7 demonstrates an example of a temperature sensor and its integration with LCD. Chapter 8 showsa keypad and an LCD project.
