She has little desire for the romantic sort of affection, especially since she had witnessed severe emotional and even some physical abuse much of her youth due to her father's awful temper and her parents' toxic relationship. However, in the midst of her complex family dynamic, she strived for more, knowing there was a beautiful and wonderful world out there filled with adventure. If she could just endure the situation until her precious younger siblings became adults, since she felt she needed to protect them from her tyrannical father, she would be free to finally pursue her own dreams.
