On the other side of the globe, the greatest engineering project in the world is in equal chaos and turmoil. The Panama Canal being constructed through the dense rain forest of Panama is not immune to the Martian advance. There, a doctor who has lost faith in his ability to heal the sick and injured is put to the ends of his courage and his conscience as he teams up with a woman who will restore both back to him and lead the two of them to come face to face with an un-ending wave of deadly machines and the demons driving them. Together the two of them face their fears and putting their medical knowledge to try and save the world of men, they discover in themselves and each other, the reasons to stand their ground and fight back.

Autor

Daniel Jay Hultine lives in the small town of Belleville, Wisconsin. A village a short drive down the highway from the state's capitol, Madison. The town of Belleville carries two distinctions. One it is the site of Stock-market company Duluth Trading's distribution center. Of where the author is employed in the position of Inventory Control Specialist on 2nd shift. Second; Belleville, Wisconsin also bills itself as the UFO Capitol of the World. A moniker it gave itself after a mysterious object lingered in the sky at night for several nights in row over the town in the late 1980's. The irony that the author wrote a revision of H.G. Wells The War of the Worlds in this town seems more than curious. As well as of the time of this re-publication, 2018, the author is currently sharing a work-space with a woman whose last name also curiously ends in Wells. I must also acknowledge Karla Wells by doing nothing short of dedicating this book to her as being a friend and the living embodiment of Elizabeth Hartaway in both spirit and temperament. This is Daniel Jay Hultine's fifth novel but is a reprint of the same novel that was published under a different publisher in 2013.
