Theodore Langhans Taylor (1921-2006) nació en Carolina del Norte, EE. UU. y dedicó su vida a la escritura de más de 50 libros de ficción y no ficción, principalmente dirigidos a jóvenes lectores. Su estilo ágil y lleno de acción lo convirtió en uno de los autores más populares de literatura juvenil en la segunda mitad del siglo XX. Además de escritor, trabajó como periodista y guionista en Hollywood antes de dedicarse por completo a la narrativa. Theodore Langhans Taylor (1921-2006) was born in North Carolina, USA and devoted his life to writing more than 50 fiction and nonfiction books, mainly aimed at young readers. His fast-paced, action-filled style made him one of the most popular young adult authors of the second half of the 20th century. In addition to being a writer, he worked as a journalist and screenwriter in Hollywood before dedicating himself fully to storytelling.
