In this study, analysis shows that the land inundation and population exposure level of Gaibandha district due to climate induced monsoon flooding in 2040 since impact on land type also determines the change on agricultural yield as it is associated with cropping pattern. In order to devise adaptation options to make Bangladesh climate resilient, it is important to know, the extent, intensity and magnitude of impacts of climate change and its implication on livelihood and food security.
