The purpose of this book is to establish the effects of child abuse on academic performance of children in primary schools. The specific objectives are to:Examine the factors responsible for the increased causes of child abuse , analyze how child abuse affects the academic performance of children in primary schools and to analyze appropriate measures that can be taken to combat child abuse and improve academic performance of children in primary schools. A case study design was used to investigate the research problem.Both quantitative and qualitative methods were used.This book is for the parents,police and teacher.
